Meet our Farmer Gems

Who’s behind the Alphonso on your plate? These two Gems have poured their heart into every bite you taste.

Ratnagiri, Maharashtra

Sachin Lanjekar

Lanjekar family has been growing Alphonsos for over 70 years. But Sachin ji didn’t just follow the family footsteps, he sprinted ahead to acquire orchards across Ratnagiri and Devgad regions – most of them G.I. certified – to create an empire. Undoubtedly, he bars use of the inhibitors disqualified for exports even for domestic retail, and promotes biological fertilisers.

What sets him apart?

His brand, ‘Quality Alphonso Mangoes’, claims the top position in domestic retail and exports. His SOPs replicates the fragrance and taste in his mangoes, whether grown in any of his geographically spread farms.

Omkar Ranade

Omkar walked away from a corporate career to run his 40- acre ancestral orchard and built something remarkable.

With 2000+ saplings and over 10,000 dozens of Alphonso harvested in season, quality is his obsession. Since 2018, he’s been cultivating residue-free Alphonsos using neem and cow dung-based fertilizers and biological inhibiters.

Harvesting potential of the farm-to-fork model, he retails directly in Pune, Mumbai, and now in Namma Bengaluru, bringing more value back to the soil.

He believes every mango should speak for itself - and if it doesn’t, he’ll make it right.
